HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?
You need to log into the MUonline system.
I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. NOW WHAT?
If you´ve forgotten your current account password, you can ask for a reset PIN at the Registrar´s Office (Studien und Lehrgänge). Then you need to log into the MUonline system.
IS THERE A MESSAGE SIZE LIMIT?
YES! Only messages up to 50 MB are processed, this is the limit. Webmail attachments are limited to 8MB.
IS THERE A MAILBOX SIZE LIMIT?
YES! The quota of the home directory is limited. Students receive 2 GB of storage for e-mail messages. This also includes the storage for your own homepage. To view your quota status see https://studmail.unileoben.ac.at .
Don´t wait till your mailbox exceeds the limit! Delete your old messages or store them on your local computer.
HOW CAN I FORWARD MY EMAIL TO ANOTHER LOCATION?
To configure forwarding you have to set a filter in your mail portal: https://studmail.unileoben.ac.at. Please enable the existing rule 'Forward' and enter the address to forward to.
WHY DOES IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO ATTACH FILES TO AN EMAIL (USING WEBMAIL)?
Reason: The file is immediately uploaded to the server if you press 'attach' and not afterwards, if you send your message.
I DON´T RECEIVE EMAILS ANYMORE!
Maybe your mailbox size exceeds the limit. Please check your quota status. If you get an email message with the subject: 'over the quota!', please clean out your folders.
I`VE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM "VIRUSSCAN". NOW WHAT?
If a message is infected with a virus you will get an email from "virusscan", including information about sender email address, detected virus and disinfection.
