Course aim and target audience
The university course on “Recycling” offers comprehensive training and development for persons involved with recycling tasks. Theoretical as well as practice-oriented skills will be taught.
The course addresses qualified expert personnel and senior management in the recycling field who have the desire to continue their professional education at an advanced level.
Course contents and focus
This university course is based on all significant subjects related to the recycling process and covers technology, market and enterprise.
Contents are comprised of technical fundamentals process engineering, metallurgy as well as recycling of various materials. Topics on safety as well as international law and its effects supplement the spectrum.
Market and enterprise principals as well as excursions to recycling companies complete the course.
Skills and expertise
Theoretical knowledge as well as practical qualification for a cross-linked backing, guidance and control of the recycling processes in companies.
Entry requirements
Prerequisite for acceptance is the completion of a Bachelor-, Master- or Diploma degree of an engineering or scientific course of study from a recognized national or international university or advanced technical college or an academic certificate of equal worth in the field of recycling.

Degree: “Graduate Recycling Engineer”
