(UZAG)
The association of the departments from the Institute of Applied Geosciences and Geophysics at the University of Leoben, with the University of Graz and the Technical University of Graz. The main collective aims are to stimulate, promote and propagate research and teaching topics in applied geosciences, with each department and/or institute concerning its specialities.
Objectives:
- The use and upgrading of the synergy between fundamental and applied research
- Intensified use of the Lab-infrastructure and specific methods within the UZAG
- Further development of the research specialities in the different departments and institutes
- Development and cooperation with other research and teaching elements at the departments and institutes
- Increased cooperation with industry
The differentiation between the departments and institutes requires the retention of two separated Bachelor and Master teaching programs, which are bounded to the specialities of the individual departments and institutes. A common PhD program is in preparation.
