As soon as an employment relationship with MUL exists, the person's master data is also transferred to MUonline the next day. The respective institute's MUonline representative is responsible for creating a PIN code. With this PIN code, it is then possible to create an account, and the system will assign a user name (pxxxxxxx).

The secretariat or the IT officer requests an email account via CCDB (HCL Notes Call Centre Database). Once the email address has been set up, the access data is sent to the secretariat or the IT officer. The call centre contacts the user to arrange an appointment for the HCL Notes email programme to be installed on their computer.
