Formalisation of Reliability Management

Goal

The focus is on increasing competitiveness by formalising a company-wide reliability management system (ZVM). To this end, an implementation concept for an integrative ZVM solution is being developed together with the wBw chair at the Montanuniversität Leoben. The modern system monitoring technologies already in use at tkSE and change management play a key role in this.

Benefit

The project partner receives a standardised procedure for preventive and reactive vulnerability analysis, which takes previous efforts into account and develops them further. The implementation concept facilitates the introduction in other areas.

Project Content

At the start of the project, a two-day workshop will be held to record the previous approach and lessons learned in a pilot area. All persons familiar with the procedure in the analysis area will be involved in this process. The processes will then be visualized and optimized in a further workshop based on the lessons learned. In addition to reactively eliminating weaknesses, the focus will be on preventing and detecting technical deviations at an early stage.

The wBw will then develop an implementation program that includes the following points:

  • Optimized process flows
  • Related tools and aids
  • Quick guides for use
  • Resource requirements
  • Communication concept for implementation

The implementation concept is then presented with the involvement of change management managers and fine-tuned. Once the concept has been finalized, it is released for implementation.
