Introduction of autonomous Maintenance
Autonomous maintenance provides for the gradual transfer of maintenance activities to production personnel. The new tasks enable plant operators to expand their skills and develop greater awareness of their systems. Targeted training enables irregularities to be recognised early on thanks to the on-site presence of trained plant personnel, thereby avoiding cost-intensive downtime. There is also potential for reducing travelling times and creating maintenance capacities for more know-how-intensive activities, such as the further development of systems.
