Admissions – students from EU and EEA countries
All degrees have a winter and summer semester intake. However, it is advised to begin a degree in the winter semester.
The number of places is unlimited and there is no selection process.
Students can only be enrolled and matriculated during the matriculation periods. (Please note, that there are are no exceptions to this rule.)
Montanuniversität does not award scholarships. However, a part of the fees can be refunded, if the concerning criteria is met (more information on fees).

Proof of Proficient Language Proficiency
Applicants have to submit a proof of German language proficiency at level A2 at the time of applying. Certificates may not be older than 2 years.
We accept the following certificates:
- Austrian Language Diploma - ÖSD Zertifikat A2
- Goethe-Institut's Certificate - Goethe-Zertifikat A2
- German Language Diploma (Level I) of the German Standing Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs - Deutsches Sprachdiplom DSD I
- German Language Test for Higher Education - Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang DSH A2
