Following the ICAA20 conference in Berlin, the Chair of Nonferrous Metallurgy at Montanuniversität Leoben will host a small, focused After-ICAA Workshop in Leoben, Austria, from 20 to 22 September 2026.

The workshop highlights applied research in aluminium alloys, with particular emphasis on:

• processing routes,
• advanced characterisation methods, and
• practical workflows (e.g. sample preparation and experimental procedures).

Morning sessions feature scientific contributions from participants, while afternoons focus on practice-oriented lectures and demonstrations.

Participation is free of charge. The workshop aims to strengthen exchange and networking within the international aluminium research community.
