After-ICAA Workshop (Leoben, Austria)

20–22 September 2026

Four sessions carry the After-ICAA Workshop from a broad view of aluminium research down to the fine detail of interfaces, defects, and strain, and back up to how these translate into deformation, properties, and damage. Talks are paired with hands-on laboratory work and a visit to 4a engineering, so that theory stays close to practice throughout.

Deliberately kept small and built around discussion rather than presentation, the workshop brings the Leoben aluminium research ecosystem into direct exchange with a select group of international guests travelling on from ICAA20 in Berlin, from 20 to 22 September 2026.
