The scientific topics within the Recycling Research Cluster range from the characterization of various residual materials, through their processing and recovery into valuable secondary raw materials, to the ecological and economic assessment of the associated processes in the context of a sustainable circular economy.
A summary of current research topics in the field of recycling at Montanuniversität Leoben, together with the participating chairs, is published in the March 2026 issue of the “Berg- und Hüttenmännische Monatshefte” (BHM).
