Recycling

Field of study: Processes

Do you want to make zero waste the gold standard?

As a recycling engineer, you will be involved in the development and optimisation of recycling plants as well as the composition and utilisation of materials. You will also develop innovative recycling concepts and product designs. Whether in research, waste management, the metal and raw materials industry, as a key figure in the zero-waste vision, all doors are open to you.

For example, you can pursue a career as a recycling engineer, secondary raw materials manager or process engineer.

How can we transform our throwaway society into a circular economy?

In the Bachelor's programme in Recycling Technology, you will acquire scientific, technical, economic and legal expertise to solve complex recycling tasks of today and tomorrow. You will learn how to recycle materials efficiently, close material cycles and actively contribute to the conservation of natural resources and climate protection.

In the process, you will learn how to implement recycling concepts along the entire value chain, from development, design and production to collection, processing and material and energy recovery, right through to the legal framework.
