Dipl.-Ing. Jacob Kopeinig visited the Chiang Mai University for an academic exchange on the topic of transparency of sustainability-relevant data in supply chains, a project which was funded by ASEA-UNINET. During this visit he worked closely with Asst. Prof. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong and her team to evaluate the sustainability maturity level of companies in Thailand. The results of the research will provide a deeper understanding of the requirements and challeges companies have in terms of data availiability and transparency of sustainability-relevant data within their supply chains in order to comply with regulations and meeting sustainability goals. Similar research is planned in Europe and the USA to present a more global picture. The results of the research will be published in the coming year.
