Ensuring the legal compliance of AI in higher education
How can innovations in higher education be implemented in a legally compliant and proactive manner? This event addresses this question and examines current legal issues and requirements. It includes a keynote speech on the topic of GEMA vs. OpenAI by Prof. Dr Achim Förster (University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt) and three short presentations by legal information centres from NeL partner institutions on legally binding usage regulations, an update on case law regarding the use of AI in examinations, and AI and data protection law. For legal departments, examination boards, digital teaching support services and lecturers with initial experience of AI, the event offers a practical insight into key legal aspects of AI use. |
