Poster Exhibition & Award

At this year's Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science, employees of the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science Leoben and the Polymer Competence Centre Leoben will once again have the opportunity to present their research work in the form of posters and publish them in the conference proceedings. 

 
Poster Submission
The posters will be presented in two ways:
  • in text form in the Conference Proceeding for download on the conference website. You can download the format template (download word doc) here.
  • as a printout in A0 as part of the poster exhibition during the Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science. Please use the respective poster template provided by Technical University of Leoben / PCCL.

Poster Submissions should be based on the topics of the sessions (see program)


By when do you have to submit your poster?
  • For the Conference Proceeding:October, 20th 2025
    please use the following upload form for submission.

    The deadline for poster submissions has ended. If you have any questions, please contact the Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering conference team at kunststofftechnik(at)unileoben.ac.at.
     
  • For the poster exhibition
    Employees of the PCCL: Please send the print data for the posters to kerstin.fischer(at)pccl.at by Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at the latest. The posters will be printed collectively.
    Employees of the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science: Printing and payment for the posters has to be handled by the insititute you are employed by. 
    Please bring your posters to the WPK Secretariat (2. OG) by Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at the latest. All posters will be collected there and taken to the poster Exhibition. After the event, we will return the posters to the WPK Secretariat, where they can be picked up again.

Poster Sessions

The posters will be presented during two Poster Sessions. We ask all poster Presenters to be present at these two Sessions to introduce their posters.

Poster Sessions:

  • Thursday, November 20th, 2025, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, November 21st, 2025, between 10:20 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.
     
Poster Voting

How can you vote as a conference participant?

This year, the Poster Voting will be held online using the voting platform MulSurvey. On this platform, you can use your smartphone to vote for the best poster during the conference. You will find a QR code on the poster walls that will take you directly to the voting platform. The evaluation is possible during the two Poster Sessions from Thursday, November 20th, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to Friday, November 21st, 2025, 11:20 a.m.

The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants if they believe that the voting was not conducted legally.


Poster Award

On Friday, November 21st, 2025 at 12:20 p.m., the best three posters will be awarded in the Erzherzog-Johann-Auditorium.

We therefore ask all poster presenters to be present in the Auditorium for the award ceremony.
The information about which poster has won will also be published here on the website after the conference.

Rights of use regarding the submission of posters to the Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science

Academic authors (hereinafter also referred to as “submitting authors”) are invited to submit a poster for the “Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science (LKK).”

All submissions will be reviewed by the organizing team to ensure they align with the objectives and scope of the conference proceedings. If the submission is accepted for publication, the submitting author will be notified electronically. By initially submitting the poster for the conference proceedings, the submitting author automatically consents to publication. 

Granting of rights to a submitted poster

By submitting their work, the submitting author grants Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH and the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science at Montanuniversität Leoben, the right to publish the poster as part of the “Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science (LKK).” In addition, the submitting person as author grants Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH and Department of Polymer Engineering and Science at Montanuniversität Leoben the geographically unrestricted and temporally limited right of 5 years to reproduce and distribute the poster in physical and digital form, the right to publicly reproduce and make available the poster, the right to store it on electronic data carriers and the right to distribute and reproduce it, as well as the right to exploit it in any other way in electronic form. The submitting author assures that they are the author and that they hold the copyright usage rights to the poster, including all tables, illustrations, graphics and journals contained therein. The submitting person, as the author, is free to republish the poster.

There is no entitlement to remuneration.
