The delegation arrived on Monday, 15th of January. After a welcome meeting with rector Peter Moser and the EURECA-PRO team, several meetings were held in order to discuss shared tasks and to plan the coming kick-off event in Hasselt. Furthermore, the visitors were given the opportunity to join tours of the university’s laboratories and to exchange their thoughts on possible synergies with local researchers.
In addition, cultural aspects were also highlighted during the visit. For example, the group was offered the opportunity to go on a guided tour of Leoben with Sophie The Guide in order to learn more about Leoben’s history and cultural heritage.
The visit was a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the relationship between Montanuniversität Leoben and Hasselt University and paved the way for the implementation of coming tasks.
