Alumni Night at LKK 2026

A journey through time spanning five decades: Alumni Night on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at Live Congress Leoben celebrates 50 years of the Verband Leobener Kunststofftechniker (VLK). Personal portraits from graduating classes between December 1976 and June 2026 tell stories of pioneering spirit, innovation, and community. We honour 50 years of networking — and look ahead together.

Special for VLK Members

As a paying member of VLK, you can attend ALUMNI NIGHT free of charge (value of the free ticket: EUR 80).

A paying member is defined as someone who has no outstanding membership fees from the last three years. If you haven’t paid your membership fee for 2026 yet this year, we kindly ask you to settle it. Should there be any outstanding amounts from previous years, we would also appreciate a payment to cover these arrears – thank you very much for your support of the community! Not sure what your outstanding amounts are? No problem – just drop us a line and we’ll be happy to check for you.

How to register as VLK Member

  • Please register for Alumni Night via the conference website: www.unileoben.ac.at/polymerevents
  • We will verify your membership status and get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Participation in Alumni Night is possible even without attending the full conference — though we would be delighted to welcome you for the entire LKK 2026 programme.

About LKK 2026 The 34th Leoben-Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science (LKK) brings the international polymer community to Montanuniversität Leoben to celebrate 50 years of VLK. From high‑performance sports applications and circular sustainability to mobility, energy, electronics, and digitalisation, LKK spans the full innovation arc — materials, processes, and smart systems. Many keynotes are delivered by Leoben alumni, showing how research becomes market‑ready products and how those products set new standards.
