Poster Exhibition
At this year’s Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science, employees of the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science and the Polymer Competence Center Leoben will once again have the opportunity to present their research as posters and publish them in the conference proceedings.
New this year: Session‑integrated poster pitches
LKK 2026 introduces curated poster pitches embedded in the thematic sessions. Posters submitted to the Poster Exhibition can also be entered for pitch consideration (opt‑in during submission). Slots are limited; all entries will be peer‑reviewed for session relevance, novelty, and application impact. The program committee will handle selection and slot allocation.
Poster Submission
The posters will be presented in three ways this year:
- In the Conference Proceedings (download on website)
- Your poster text/extended abstract will be published in the downloadable Conference Proceedings on the event website.
- Please use the official format template (download word doc)for your submission.
- As printed A0 posters at the on‑site Poster Exhibition
- Present your work on A0 paper during the Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science.

- New: Session‑integrated Poster Pitch (optional)
- When submitting to the Poster Exhibition, you can opt in to have your poster considered for a short pitch within a relevant thematic session.
- Format: approx. 3 minutes pitch + brief Q&A; limited slots.
- Selection: peer‑review based on session relevance, novelty, and application impact; final allocation by the program committee.
- If selected, you will receive pitch slot details and slide guidelines ahead of the conference.

- Deadline: October, 8th 2026
- Submission: Please use this upload form for your submission.
Poster Exhibition
Employees of the PCCL:
- Please send the print data for the posters to kerstin.fischer(at)pccl.at. The posters will be printed collectively.
- Deadline for ordering posters: October, 29th 2026 (if ordered later, delivery in time cannot be guaranteed)
- Provide: poster file (PDF, TIFF or JPEG) and project number
Employees of the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science:
- Printing and payment: Must be handled by the institute you are employed by.
- Delivery: Please bring your posters to the WPK Secretariat (2nd floor) by October, 29th 2026. All posters will be collected there and taken to the Poster Exhibition. After the event, we will return the posters to the WPK Secretariat, where they can be picked up again.
New: Optional Poster Pitch (session‑integrated)
- Opt‑in during submission: When submitting to the Poster Exhibition, you can also indicate that you wish your poster to be considered for a short pitch within a relevant thematic session.
- Format: Approx. 3 minutes pitch + brief Q&A; slides allowed (max. 3 content slides).
- Capacity: Limited slots.
- Selection: Peer review for session relevance, novelty, and application impact; final selection and slot allocation by the program committee.
- Deadlines (opt‑in and materials for review): October, 8th 2026
- How to submit for pitch consideration:
- Use the same upload form as for the Poster Exhibition and tick “Consider for Poster Pitch.”
- If selected: You will receive your pitch schedule, room, and slide guidelines ahead of the conference.

Rights of use regarding the submission of posters to the Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science
Academic authors (hereinafter also referred to as “submitting authors”) are invited to submit a poster for the “Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science (LKK).”
All submissions will be reviewed by the organizing team to ensure they align with the objectives and scope of the conference proceedings. If the submission is accepted for publication, the submitting author will be notified electronically. By initially submitting the poster for the conference proceedings, the submitting author automatically consents to publication.
Granting of rights to a submitted poster
By submitting their work, the submitting author grants Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH and the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science at Montanuniversität Leoben, the right to publish the poster as part of the “Leoben Conference on Polymer Engineering and Science (LKK).” In addition, the submitting person as author grants Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH and Department of Polymer Engineering and Science at Montanuniversität Leoben the geographically unrestricted and temporally limited right of 5 years to reproduce and distribute the poster in physical and digital form, the right to publicly reproduce and make available the poster, the right to store it on electronic data carriers and the right to distribute and reproduce it, as well as the right to exploit it in any other way in electronic form. The submitting author assures that they are the author and that they hold the copyright usage rights to the poster, including all tables, illustrations, graphics and journals contained therein. The submitting person, as the author, is free to republish the poster.
There is no entitlement to remuneration.
