We are delighted to welcome the first cohort of students from the University of Hyderabad to the Montanuniversität Leoben. Their arrival marks an exciting milestone in our growing partnership, bringing fresh perspectives, energy, and curiosity to our campus. Over the coming weeks, these students will immerse themselves in rigorous coursework and hands-on laboratory experiments at the Department Materials Science, collaborating with our faculty and peers on real-world challenges in materials science. From advanced materials characterization and testing to atomistic modeling and microelectronic engineering, their learning journey will be enriched by access to our state-of-the-art facilities and vibrant Austrian culture. This inaugural exchange is the launchpad for a long-term joint study program that will unite strengths from both institutions. Together, we aim to cultivate innovation, enhance intercultural competence, and create enduring academic and industry connections. A big thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen!
