Junganalytiker*innen Forum 2023

With a total of 83 participants, 23 talks, 3 award lectures (Junganalytiker*innen Preise 2022 und 2023), and 20 posters, the 18th Junganalytiker*innen Forum (Young Analytical Chemists Forum) of the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry (ASAC) was hosted from 11.-12. May 2023 by the Chair of General and Analytical Chemistry. In addition to the exciting contributions from the young scientists, the social program with a conference dinner, company pitches, laboratory tour, and excursion through Leoben was also very well received.

Congratulations to Simone Trimmel for being awarded with the ASAC Junganalytiker*innen Preis 2023 for her outstanding early-career publication (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00216-022-04497-3).

Congratulations also to Alexander Epov for receiving one of the best talk awards for a student lecture at the conference.

We thank our sponsors for supporting the event (Analytical & Bioanalytical Chemistry Springer, Agilent, Bartelt, Elemental Scientific, Bruker, S4S/PerkinElmer, Bruckner Analysetechnik, Lactan, Nu Instruments Ametek, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Stadt Leoben).
