Two degrees for an international career

That‘s why the International Master of Science in Building Materials and Ceramics teaches you structure, properties, and production of ceramics, glass, refractories and mineral binders, as well as mineral processing and refinement.
Over four semesters you will study in China and Austria, earning a Master of Engineering from the Wuhan University of Science and Technology as well as a Master of Science from the Technical University of Leoben. With its combination of intercultural skills and practical experience, this master degree programme prepares you for a global career in the building materials industry. What to expect from the study programme?
This master's programme is a double degree programme with a duration of four semesters, split between two partner universities:
- 1st and 2nd semester will be held at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology (China)
- 3rd and 4th semester will be held at the Technical University of Leoben (Austria)
Upon successful completion of the programme, the two partner institutions will award their respective academic degrees to the participating students as follows:
- The Technical University of Leoben confers the academic degree “Master of Science“ (MSc)
- The Wuhan University of Science and Technology confers the academic degree “Master of Engineering“ (ME)
