During the visit, TU Leoben and AHUT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of formal cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement aims to promote joint research, academic exchange and educational cooperation, particularly in the field ofmetallurgy and materials engineering.
The discussions also explored the possibility of establishing a double-degree program between the two universities within the Department of metallurgy. Such a program would provide students with expanded international learning opportunities.
Following the signing, the AHUT delegation toured the campus of the Technical University of Leoben and the laboratories of the Chair of Ferrous Metallurgy, where they gained insights into current research activities and facilities.
The visit further deepened mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for future academic collaboration. Both sides also expressed great enthusiasm for developing a long-term partnership that will foster innovation and knowledge exchange in the years ahead.
