LS MUL-AACH in the Spotlight of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry
In the first issue of 2025 of the Mitteilungsblatt, the official newsletter of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry, the Chair of General and Analytical Chemistry (AAC) at Montanuniversität Leoben is featured in a detailed profile. We are delighted by this recognition and the visibility it brings to analytical chemistry in Austria—and especially at our university.
The Mitteilungsblatt is published quarterly as the official member magazine of the division. Starting in 2025, the online version becomes the main format. The savings from printing and shipping costs will be reinvested directly into the division’s scholarship program to support young scientists.
The GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry has around 2,400 members and has represented the interests of analytical chemistry in Germany since its founding in 1951. It connects academia, public authorities, industry, equipment manufacturers, independent laboratories, and the media, with the aim of advancing education, innovation, and public visibility in analytical chemistry. As part of the German Chemical Society (GDCh), which brings together over 28,000 members, the division is committed to strengthening the role of chemistry in science, industry, and society—working toward a sustainable and livable future.
