The JunganalytikerInnen Forum 2021 (JAF2021 jaf2021.sbg.ac.at) was held as online symposium for Analytical Chemistry aimed for young scientists. Simone Trimmel and Gulnaz Mukhametzianova gave successfully talks which were well received by the scientific community.
Simone Trimmel gave a lecture about “ICP-CRC-MS based methods for TCE-analysis in plants”. She presented first results of experiments with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analysis of selected technology-critical elements (Ge, Nb, Sb, Ta) in the course of the FWF-funded project TecEUS ( teceus.at).
Gulnaz Mukhametzianova presented the talk "Identification of the source of the Non-metallic inclusions (NMIs) based on the determination of the elemental and isotopic fingerprint and 3D visualization". She presented Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis of NMIs, visualization and parameters of the laser craters, Rare earth elements (REE) analysis based on LA-ICP-MS and Sr isotope analysis based on LA-MC-ICP-MS.
