GÖCH dissertation prize for Stefan Wagner

Stefan Wagner has been honored with the Förderungspreis für Chemie 2023 by the Austrian Chemical Society (GÖCH) in recognition of his outstanding doctoral thesis. His research, conducted at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna and Montanuniversität Leoben as part of an FWF stand-alone project (P 30085) under the supervision of Thomas Prohaska, focuses on fundamental method advancements in elemental and stable isotope analysis.
The award ceremony took place on 17.11.2023 following the General Assembly of the GÖCH in a festive ceremony at the TU Vienna. A total of three dissertations were awarded, which were written at Austrian universities and are characterized by their exceptional quality and innovative contributions to chemical research. Sponsored with a generous prize of € 2000 by the "Fachverband der Chemischen Industrie Österreichs" (FCIO), the accolades underscore the commitment to recognizing and promoting excellence in the realm of chemistry.
