Sara Widhalm masters her final apprenticeship exam as a laboratory technician

Sara Widhalm from the Chair of General and Analytical Chemistry has successfully completed her final apprenticeship exam.

At Montanuniversität, in addition to many different study curricula, university courses, etc., there is also the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship, mostly in technical areas. Laboratory technicians are continuously being trained at the Chair of General and Analytical Chemistry. Now another apprentice has successfully completed the final apprenticeship examination:

Sara began studying applied geosciences at the Montanuniversität Leoben in 2014 but wanted to focus entirely on chemistry and started in 2020 with an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician at the Chair of General and Analytical Chemistry.

Thanks to the knowledge she had acquired during her studies, Sara was able to take advantage of the shortened apprenticeship option and thus complete her apprenticeship within 2 years. She was trained on a wide variety of chemical digestion and analysis methods in the laboratory and is now a professional in analytical chemistry.
