Teaching and Learning Laboratory Leoben

Building on the SCHOOL@MUL project, the Leoben Teaching and Learning Laboratory offers experimental workshops on various topics for primary school classes. The "Children's Laboratory" is run as a permanent cooperation between the Technical University of Leoben and the Private University College of Education Augustinum (PPH Augustinum, formerly KPH Graz) in specially adapted facilities in the main building of the Alma Mater Leobiensis.

Offer

In the current school year 2025/26, we will start with a repeat of the "Metals" workshop around the autumn half-term. The programme will continue throughout the school year, with the workshop modules changing approximately every two to three months.

Each workshop is organised as a series of stations and lasts approximately two hours. The pupils carry out their own investigations throughout, supported by a team of pupils from the Technical University of Leoben and PPH Augustinum. Extensive accompanying material is provided for each topic.

The offer is free of charge for school classes. To arrange an appointment for your class, please contact the Teaching and Learning Laboratory Team. The workshop dates for the winter semester will be available from mid-October.
