Workshop-Modul „Plastics“
A life without plastics – commonly referred to as "plastic" in everyday language – is no longer conceivable. But how long does it take for rubbish and waste to decompose in the environment? And what exactly is a superabsorbent? These and other research questions are answered by pupils in the plastics workshop module at the teaching and learning laboratory in Leoben. They are assisted by a team of students and teachers from the Montanuniversität and the Augustinum Private University of Education.
„Hands-on“ in small groups
In small groups of two to three children, pupils are allowed to independently explore various research questions and experiments on the topic of plastics with the help of a prepared research booklet. All necessary materials are provided. Within approximately two hours, the children are immersed in the exciting world of research. And, of course, there is also something to take home and continue researching.
The workshop is suitable for primary school classes (especially lower secondary level II), but also for Year 7 secondary school and grammar school pupils (Year 5).
We look forward to welcoming lots of curious little researchers!
