Fonda-Fasella 2017 award to Christian Prehal

For his important contribution to the understanding of ion behavior in supercapacitors, Dr. Christian Prehal was awarded with the Fonda-Fasella prize.

The annual Fonda-Fasella award ceremony was held on December 5, 2017, during the Elettra Users' Meeting "PHANGS". The Fonda-Fasella prize is awarded to a young researcher who has obtained important results while working at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.

This year the winner was Dr. Christian Prehal, from the Institute of Physics, Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria), who presented the paper "Ion charge storage in supercapacitor nanopores quantified by modeling and in situ SAXS".
